Read This if You Are Going Through a Tough Time

My dear brothers and sisters, Its no secret that we experience difficult moments in our lives, but the important aspect for us to realize is that Allah taught us to the remedy to deal with these difficulties. Allah gave us the medication to deal with these difficulties and that is the medication of patience. Allah in His book establishes the fact that we will be tested in this world, its mentioned in Surah Baqarah "And We will surely test you something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient"

Allah promises that we will be tested with many many different tests, with life, with death, with poverty. We will be tested, its part and parcel of this life and Allah immediately after informing us of the Sunnah (practice) of the life that we live in, tell us and glad tidings to the patient. Who is the patient ya Allah? Allah tells us in Surah Baqarah "Those who, when disaster strikes them, say, indeed we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we will return" They are those when a difficulty afflicts them, they say indeed we are from Allah and unto Allah we will return.
They remain with their faith, they remain with their Islam, they never deny Allah even though they have been tested, they have been afflicted with difficulty, they have been afflicted with adversity, it only makes their belief in Allah stronger, it only makes the understanding of this Ayah (verse) better and in it they understand that Allah here as provided us an opportunity to say "Indeed we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we will return" They are those who say this when afflicted with difficulty, when calamity strikes.

You know what Allah say about them, Allah says that they have an amazing price and this price is in the form of blessing befalling them, blessings and mercy of Allah falling upon them and Allah says "Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy" Upon these people are the blessings and mercy of Allah upon them and you know if you ponder over these Ayaat, it teaches us that when a difficulty afflicts us, it's not the 'O' of obstacle rather it is the 'O' of opportunity. Which opportunity? The opportunity to get blessings from Allah, the opportunity to get the mercy of Allah.

If we didn't go through this difficulty successfully, we would have been void from these blessings. If we didn't have this test in the first place, we would have been void from these blessings. It's not an obstacle, it's an opportunity. Think about the exams that you and I take in this world, we go to school and we write exams, we write our secondary school exams, it's a test? When we pass this test, we have greater opportunities awaiting us, we can go to university and when we pass our test in university, we have greater opportunities awaiting us, in the form of getting a good job that pays a better salary or maybe you might just choose to go further and do a master degree and you will face more tests and when you pass those tests, you have a great opportunities that await you.
This is the same, my dear brothers and sisters, with every test you pass that Allah presents you, Allah increases your paradise, Allah increases your blessings. Every test passed is a chance to earn an even greater opportunity, an even greater blessing and that is why our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said that if Allah loves you, He will test you. It's not an obstacle instead it's an opportunity. I want you to think this way! The messengers of Allah, the most beloved to him were tested, if they were tested, what about yourself and myself? Allah will never test you with a burden that you cannot carry, Never Ever! Allah has promised us this in the Quran "Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity" Allah will never test you, will never give you a burden that you cannot manage so if you are facing a test, I want you to sit up and I want you to believe that you can pass this test. I want you to believe that you are able because Allah told you that you are able and Allah loves you and that is why He is testing you and Allah has presented you an opportunity to earn His blessing and to earn His mercy and to build for yourself a greater paradise.

In the name of Allah, most compassionate and most merciful. “From among the signs of the Hour (end of time) are that religious knowledge will be taken away (by the death of religious scholars), ignorance will prevail, drinking of alcoholic drinks, and there will be a prevalence of Zina.” – Prophet (saw) We begin our topic with these words of our beloved Prophet. How true were his words? We live in a world where all these things are prevalent and unfortunately in our Muslim community as well. Many of our Muslim brothers and sisters are trapped in the evil of Zina and it has become a norm for them, as a result they don’t even consider it haram and unlawful. Allah says in holy Quran: Sūrah al-Isrā’, 17:32: “And do not even approach zina, for it is an outrageous act, and an evil way…’’ We are not going into detail about why Zina is unlawful but in this article, you will find the consequences of this sin. How this affects a life of a person physically, mentally, spiritually and so

An Inspiration to Muslim Youth A man of a kind heart was known for his charity work over the past three years. Ali Banat is a sydney born who was diagnosed with Cancer and doctors have given him only 7 months to live. Despite his circumstances, he considers this a gift from Allah. Ali Banat, is a young man who, in his own words, was “gifted” with a stage 4 cancer throughout his body. He was given just a few months to live but took this great test as an opportunity to change his life. Upon receiving this news he immediately sold his business, gave up his lavish lifestyle and prized possessions and began a new mission to give up his Dunya and work for his Akhira. Ali has humbly dedicated the remainder of his life to helping those who are far less fortunate than him and in doing so, set up the charity MATW Project (Muslims Around The World) which has already changed the lives of so many.
