As Per Quran and Sunnah, These Are The 6 Ways To Remove Sadness

Sadness is one of the things which lead to sheer stress and depression. This is something, which we can not control or divert easily.

To cure your sadness, Here is the list which Quran and Sunnah enlist to remove our sadness away;

1. Life is a Test!

''And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient, Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah , and indeed to Him we will return." Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided.

(Quran - 2: 155-157)

Never ever give up! Life is a test, Allah has mentioned all of it in Quran and it is wide and clear that this World and our lives are a test, and whoever passes this test, will enter the paradise created by Allah for his beloved people.
2. Always be Positive

Narrated Ibn Jaz: "I have not seen anyone who smiled more than the Messenger of Allah (pbuh)

(Tirmidhi Book 49, Hadith 4002)

Always be positive, even if you are sad to try to be positive because the time you start linking to the negative thoughts and overthinking it will lead you to the extreme depression.

3. Kick the Fear out

Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to immorality, while Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

(Quran 2:268)

Never ever be afraid, always remember that Allah is always with you and he never wants the worst but the best for you.

4. Recite Quran and Offer Prayers

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) have said: O Bilal, make the call for prayer. Give us comfort by it

(Sunan Abu Dawood Hadith 4985)

Truly, Quran and Prayer give the peace to one’s soul.
5. Look at those who have less than you and be thankful to Allah

Also call to mind when your Lord proclaimed: "If you give thanks, I will certainly grant you more; but if you are ungrateful for My favours, My punishment is severe.

(Quran 14:7)

6. Always see Goodness in everything

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Wondrous is the affair of a believer, as there is good for him in every matter; this is not the case for anyone but a believer. If he experiences pleasure, he thanks Allah and it is good for him. If he experiences harm, he shows patience and it is good for him.”

(Sahih Muslim 2999)

When you will see the good in the world, the world will seem a better place for you. Try not to indulge in negative things and thoughts.

As true believers, we should not linger all the sadness, depression and stress as all the things in the world is in Allah’s hand. And Allah will always choose what is best for us. And Allah never burdens anyone more than he or she can bear.

How true were his words? We live in a world where all these things are prevalent and unfortunately in our Muslim community as well. Many of our Muslim brothers and sisters are trapped in the evil of Zina and it has become a norm for them, as a result they don’t even consider it haram and unlawful. Allah says in holy Quran: Sūrah al-Isrā’, 17:32: “And do not even approach zina, for it is an outrageous act, and an evil way…’’ We are not going into detail about why Zina is unlawful but in this article, you will find the consequences of this sin. How this affects a life of a person physically, mentally, spiritually and so

Ali Banat is a sydney born who was diagnosed with Cancer and doctors have given him only 7 months to live. Despite his circumstances, he considers this a gift from Allah. Ali Banat, is a young man who, in his own words, was “gifted” with a stage 4 cancer throughout his body. He was given just a few months to live but took this great test as an opportunity to change his life. Upon receiving this news he immediately sold his business, gave up his lavish lifestyle and prized possessions and began a new mission to give up his Dunya and work for his Akhira. Ali has humbly dedicated the remainder of his life to helping those who are far less fortunate than him and in doing so, set up the charity MATW Project (Muslims Around The World) which has already changed the lives of so many.
