Most Frequent Dua of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)

All praise be to Allah.

Dua is a great act of worship and a means to get close to Almighty Allah. Allah has ordered all believers to make dua in glorious Quran, Allah Almighty said:

“And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible” [Ghaafir:60].

The virtue of dua I great. Allah says he always listens and responds to our calls and whoever doesn’t call Allah will be deprived of the great blessings of Allah. Every Muslim has to understand the importance of making dua and seek the blessings and mercy of Allah thorough it.

A believer must make dua at all times; be it at the time of happiness or at the time of hardship. Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) has taught us to make dua in every situation and one of his most frequent dua is

Anas (may Allah the Almighty be pleased with him) said that the most frequent Dua'a of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was:

"Allahumma atina fid-dunya hasanatan, wa fil-akhirati hasanatan, wa qina 'adhab-annar

[i.e “O our Lord, grants us the best in this life and the best in the next life, and protects us from the punishment of the Fire.”] (Agreed upon).
We must repeat this dua frequently. It will safeguard all those who say it from the torment of hell (inshaAllah)

Another dua that the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him would say a lot was:

Shahr bin Hawshab said: I said to Umm Salamah (may Allah the Almighty be pleased with her): ‘O Mother of the Believers! What was the supplication that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said most frequently when he was with you? She said: ‘The supplication he said most frequently was:

“Yā Muqallibal-qulūb, thabbit qalbī `alā dīnik”

[i.e “O Changer of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion”] (at-Tirmidhi)

We too must ask Allah to change our hears from bad to good and make us stand firm on the deen of Islam.

We must repeat both the supplications as much as we can and share this knowledge with our brothers and sisters.

May Allah have mercy on all believers and accept their supplications.

In the name of Allah, most compassionate and most merciful. “From among the signs of the Hour (end of time) are that religious knowledge will be taken away (by the death of religious scholars), ignorance will prevail, drinking of alcoholic drinks, and there will be a prevalence of Zina.” – Prophet (saw) We begin our topic with these words of our beloved Prophet. How true were his words? We live in a world where all these things are prevalent and unfortunately in our Muslim community as well. Many of our Muslim brothers and sisters are trapped in the evil of Zina and it has become a norm for them, as a result they don’t even consider it haram and unlawful. Allah says in holy Quran: Sūrah al-Isrā’, 17:32: “And do not even approach zina, for it is an outrageous act, and an evil way…’’ We are not going into detail about why Zina is unlawful but in this article, you will find the consequences of this sin. How this affects a life of a person physically, mentally, spiritually and so

Ali Banat is a sydney born who was diagnosed with Cancer and doctors have given him only 7 months to live. Despite his circumstances, he considers this a gift from Allah. Ali Banat, is a young man who, in his own words, was “gifted” with a stage 4 cancer throughout his body. He was given just a few months to live but took this great test as an opportunity to change his life. Upon receiving this news he immediately sold his business, gave up his lavish lifestyle and prized possessions and began a new mission to give up his Dunya and work for his Akhira. Ali has humbly dedicated the remainder of his life to helping those who are far less fortunate than him and in doing so, set up the charity MATW Project (Muslims Around The World) which has already changed the lives of so many.
