All praise be to Allah.

Most of our youth raise a question as to why be a death penalty the punishment for homosexuality and why is it even forbidden if Allah made a person that way. If a person is born in a way than why is he condemned?

Al-Junayd in ‘Hilyat al-Awliya said:

“ A person is not to be blamed for his nature. Rather he is to be blamed if he acts according to his nature”

We need to understand that no one is condemned to hell because of their nature or simply because of what they desire and what thoughts cross their mind. A person is doomed to hell if he/she acts according to his desires i.e. if he engages in sinful activities. A thought and an action are two different things.

Men and women are attracted to opposite gender but that doesn’t take them to hell, what becomes haram is the way they act after the infatuation has occurred. AN infatuation or liking someone doesn’t give anyone reason to commit the more grievous sins. You don’t have the right to lust after the opposite gender outside the bonds of marriage. A person can pursue intimacy in a wedlock and not out of it.

Similarly, a person who is attracted to the same gender must not get carried away with it. We can’t help what we feel but we can definitely control it. And the more we control it the better.

In today's world, we see large population is drawn towards sexual desires more than before. The simple solution is getting married but people end up giving in to their desires and commit sins. The surrender to what they feel and their desires and stoop so low only to gain a moments pleasure.

A human is supposed to have control over his desires and it is one of the ways Allah has tested us. Believers submit themselves only to Allah and refrain from submitting to the desires and whims of this world. Remember this is not paradise.

A person who has such tendencies must do as much to be close to Allah and don’t give second thoughts to whatever crosses their mind.

A believer must always pray to Allah and make many supplications that Allah heal him from whatever is affecting him.

A believer must be patient with the Qadr of Allah and never submit to the ways of kufaar.

A believer must seek help in patience and prayer.

There are many reports of people having their sexual interests switched over a period of time. So with the help of Allah if one stands firm on his deen and control what he feels, Allah will surely take him out of this trial.

It may be a test of Allah on certain people, what is required is ones patience and trust in Allah and never act in any sinful manner.

And Allah knows best.

May Allah heal us all.

In the name of Allah, most compassionate and most merciful. “From among the signs of the Hour (end of time) are that religious knowledge will be taken away (by the death of religious scholars), ignorance will prevail, drinking of alcoholic drinks, and there will be a prevalence of Zina.” – Prophet (saw) We begin our topic with these words of our beloved Prophet. How true were his words? We live in a world where all these things are prevalent and unfortunately in our Muslim community as well. Many of our Muslim brothers and sisters are trapped in the evil of Zina and it has become a norm for them, as a result they don’t even consider it haram and unlawful. Allah says in holy Quran: Sūrah al-Isrā’, 17:32: “And do not even approach zina, for it is an outrageous act, and an evil way…’’ We are not going into detail about why Zina is unlawful but in this article, you will find the consequences of this sin. How this affects a life of a person physically, mentally, spiritually and so

It’s a sad day for all those who knew Ali Banat, the young man gifted with cancer. Ali Banat was an inspiring Australian Muslim philanthropist whose diagnosis of cancer motivated him to dedicate his life to charity work. “At this point in my life, Alhamdulillah I have been gifted by Allah with cancer throughout my body and I have changed my whole life to helping people,” he said. An Inspiration to Muslim Youth A man of a kind heart was known for his charity work over the past three years. Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. May Allah have mercy on our brother Ali Banat and make it easy

Ali Banat is a sydney born who was diagnosed with Cancer and doctors have given him only 7 months to live. Despite his circumstances, he considers this a gift from Allah. Ali Banat, is a young man who, in his own words, was “gifted” with a stage 4 cancer throughout his body. He was given just a few months to live but took this great test as an opportunity to change his life. Upon receiving this news he immediately sold his business, gave up his lavish lifestyle and prized possessions and began a new mission to give up his Dunya and work for his Akhira. Ali has humbly dedicated the remainder of his life to helping those who are far less fortunate than him and in doing so, set up the charity MATW Project (Muslims Around The World) which has already changed the lives of so many. Being diagnosed with cancer is like death sentence for many. But this is not the way Australian Muslim Ali Ali Banat sees it.
